Class Descriptions
Level 1- Come to a softer, more sensitive practice. Level 1 classes are ideal for those that are new to yoga, students seeking a more accessible practice, and any yoga practitioner who just wants to slow it down.

Meditative Flow - A blend of Hatha and Yin, this class includes a blend of stretching connective tissue and strengthening muscles, utilizing breath work to deepen into the poses. As the postures will be held from 1-3 minutes, gentle movements or pulsations will be encouraged, to create a sense of ease in both mind and body. You may experience a feeling of release and opening in this deeply meditative practice.

Restorative - A soothing and calming practice that is meant to rejuvenate and restore the body and mind. Poses are held passively anywhere with the use of props help hold poses with little to no effort. This practice may also include pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation to promote mental clarity and relaxation.

All Levels - A well-rounded, balanced, and mindful combination of vinyasa flow and longer held poses. Expect a deep connection to the inner yoga, along with standing, seated, and supine postures that enhance strength, balance, and flexibility with attention to alignment and breath. All Levels classes offer it all, with both modified and advanced variations to support your practice and body no matter what level you are in.

Gentle Yoga for Cancer Wellness - A safe, warm, approachable, meditative FREE practice that utilizes movement and breath to gently open the body, mind, and spirit. Modifications in range of motion are always given and students are invited to practice in whatever way they show up, whether following all of the movements as instructed, modifying from a chair, or visualizing the whole practice with limited or no movement at all. I offer these classes AT NO CHARGE through Support Connection, to anyone with (or who has had) a diagnosis of breast, ovarian, and/or gynecological cancer. Hatha - This is a slower practice, without the flow of a traditional Vinyasa class. Postures are held with deeper awareness of breath and alignment. A good practice for All levels, including beginners.

Semi-Strong All Levels - In this practice, students should have a basic understanding of yoga asana. Although advanced variations will sometimes be offered for greater challenges, more intensity, and deeper strength, modifications and kramas will ALWAYS be cued, so that you can personalize your practice.

Fusion Yoga/Pilates - This class, a blend of Vinyasa and Pilates, aims not only to build strength, flexibility and better posture, but also to focus on the breath and bring peace to the mind. We'll practice movements that will strengthen the core, tone the muscles (including the pelvic floor), and deepen our connection to body, mind, and spirit.

Next Level - Everyone has their own style and rhythm, and this unique class of movement, meditation, breath, and energy helps you understand and make peace with your innate flow. Consider meditation your personal inner sequence, just like a vinyasa. In this practice we’ll learn to align our outer movements with our deeper, intuitive energies. Come to listen deeply and be inspired to take your yoga practice to the next level.
